Aloys Beer Can Chicken with Smoked Chardonnay Salted Cous Cous
Believe it or not there is a beer can in this chicken, lid removed and beer emptied (by Dad) and refilled with chardonnay, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and lemon. It was then smoked using chardonnay soaked hickory. Mum made a cous cous dish with smoked salt - the smoke coming from old french oak chardonnay barrels. Guess what we drank? Yep Howard Park 2010 and a Bloodwood "Schubert" 2005. Two outstanding wines.
